Every rental includes delivery, pickup and up to 7 days on site. Need more time? Keep your bin longer and pay a low daily rate for the extra days.
Rentals start at just $300. After pickup we bill the rental plus the actual disposal fee from Valley Waste's scale ticket, so you never pay for guesswork.

You book by phone, text or online, and we deliver the bin the same day or the next. You have up to 7 days to fill it. We then haul it to Valley Waste, where the load is weighed, and bill you the rental price plus the actual disposal fee from the scale ticket.
It depends on the project. A 6-yard bin suits a single room or a few bulky items, a 10-yard handles garage or basement cleanouts, a 14-yard fits kitchen and bathroom remodels, and a 20-yard is built for roofing, major renovations and construction debris. Not sure? Give us a call and we will help you choose.
Your total is the rental price plus disposal. Rentals cost $300 to $350 for 7 days, including delivery and pickup. Disposal is billed by weight at Valley Waste's posted rate. Extra days cost $10 to $20 per day depending on bin size, and delivery to the extended area adds $50.
Valley Waste charges by the kilogram, based on the weight and type of material in your bin, and the fee is added to your final bill. Sorted construction debris costs about half the mixed rate, so a bin of only shingles, drywall, clean wood or concrete is cheaper to dump. Keeping banned items out avoids penalty rates. See Valley Waste tipping fees.
Rent a bin when you have more than a truckload or a project that runs several days: you load it at your own pace for up to 7 days. Junk removal suits a few items you want someone else to carry out. Hauling it yourself to Valley Waste in Kentville works for small, sorted loads if you have a truck.
Nova Scotia bans these from landfill, or Valley Waste handles them separately, so they cannot go in your bin: corrugated cardboard, leaf and yard waste, food and other compostables, fridges, freezers and air conditioners, tires, batteries, paint, oil, electronics, small appliances and household hazardous waste. Furniture, drywall, flooring, shingles, wood and general renovation debris are fine. See the Nova Scotia landfill ban list.
Valley Waste can charge a double rate on a non-compliant load, or reject it. Any penalty is added to your final bill, so keep cardboard, yard waste and other banned items out of the bin. Ask us before you load anything you are unsure about.
No permit is needed when the bin sits on your own property, such as your driveway. A bin on a public street or sidewalk may need a municipal permit; we can advise and often obtain it for you. Before delivery, clear a spot close to your work area with room for our truck to back in. We will confirm placement when you book.
We deliver the same day or the next across the Annapolis Valley and West Hants. Delivery and pickup are included from Windsor to Berwick, including Windsor, Falmouth, Hantsport, Avonport, Wolfville, New Minas, Kentville, Coldbrook, Centreville, Canning, and Berwick. We also deliver to Greenwood, Middleton, New Ross, Vaughan, and Kempt Shore for an additional $50.
Every rental includes up to 7 days. Need more time? Additional days are billed by the day: $10/day for the 6-yard, $10/day for the 10-yard, $15/day for the 14-yard, and $20/day for the 20-yard.
Yes. For long-term projects, a bin costs $400 per month, plus $125 for delivery (drop-off) and $225 for each pickup or swap (we haul the full bin away and, for a swap, leave an empty one). Disposal fees are billed by weight at Valley Waste's rate, as with any rental.
We charge at the end of your rental, once we know what the disposal fees are. To book, we require a credit card on file or a cash deposit that covers the rental and estimated landfill fees.
We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. You can send us a booking request online at any time.
Household hazardous waste such as paint, solvents and household chemicals cannot go in a bin. Valley Waste accepts it at its management centres. Check Valley Waste's household hazardous waste page for accepted items, drop-off hours and any fees before you go.
Yes. Valley Waste raised select tipping fees by 5% on April 1, 2026, as part of its 2026–2027 budget, and kept the $10 minimum fee unchanged. Disposal on your bill is charged at Valley Waste's current rate, so it reflects the new fees. See Valley Waste tipping fees.
Compare the total, not the headline price. Ask how many days are included, whether delivery to your town costs extra, how disposal is billed (by weight or a flat fee), what extra days cost, and what happens with banned items. Our answers: 7 days included, delivery included from Windsor to Berwick, disposal by weight, and $10 to $20 per extra day.
Secure your 7-day rental today. Same-day or next-day delivery, and reliable service from Windsor to Berwick.
